1. What is the decoration like in your home?

We have decorated my home with small saplings all around. The place is green because we have planted many trees and plants in our home. Otherwise, coming to the indoors, the indoors have a very bohemian vibe to them with light curtains and light colours.

 2. What kind of decoration do you prefer?

My aesthetics are very vintage regarding decoration, which I prefer. I like to decorate my room with some family pictures. And there is a vision board where I have placed many pictures.

3. Do Indian people like decorating their homes?

Yes, Indian people do like decorating their homes. In ancient pastimes, Indian houses were also decorated with the help of flowers.

4. What’s your favourite colour when decorating your home?

My favourite colour is white. I like to decorate my home with more light colours. That’s why we have installed some light-coloured curtains in our home.

5. What does decoration mean to you, and how does it contribute to the atmosphere of a space?

Decoration should be done in a particular home according to the person living inside it because the house is their territory where they can express their thoughts in colours. We like to keep it very light so we don’t have loud colours or bold paintings at home.

6. How do you decide on a decorating style or theme for a room or space?

I like to keep very minimalistic things in the room. I usually prefer a vase with fresh flowers, family pictures, and pictures of friends in small frames on the wall.

7. What budget-friendly ways to decorate a room without compromising style?

There are many videos available on the internet. If the person has a small budget, they can consistently create their things or showpieces by watching videos and doing some arts and crafts. That can be a great DIY.

8. How do you incorporate personal touches or sentimental items into your home decor?

We can keep specific, iconic pictures from our family’s most memorable trips. We can also collect things from wherever we go to travel. We can assemble some fridge magnets to keep a memory of that place.

9. What role do colours play in decoration? How do you choose a suitable colour scheme for your room?

Colours play a very vital role when it comes to the decoration of the room. The room’s colour should be chosen according to the availability of sunlight and the lights in the room. If the person prefers dark colours, painting one wall or two walls of the room in a dark colour is okay. But it is often preferred to keep the colour tone in lighter shades so that the colour doesn’t strain the eyes.

10. How do you balance functionality and aesthetics when decorating a space?

I believe functionality should be kept in mind, and aesthetics will follow according to the person choosing the things. For example, if there is a space for installing a particular type of furniture in the room, the person selecting it has their taste. So, the aesthetics will follow, and the functionality should be kept in mind.

11. What creative DIY decoration ideas have you tried or would like to try?

I have a vision board in my room. I want to create more DIY things and put them on the vision board. That will help me to spill my ideas or thoughts onto a piece of paper, and I would relate more to that piece of art. I have watched several videos. I have watched a video where the person created a piece of art with the help of threads.

12. How do seasonal changes influence your approach to decoration?

Seasonal changes, yes. These days, the sun is getting closer to the Earth. So, it’s a lot sunny and hot these days. So, we have changed our curtains from single-layer to double-layer curtains to prevent heat inside the room.
