We should not crib about those things which are outside our domain. We can lead our lives towards an impressive growth trajectory by remaining resilient during tough times.

Have you ever lost your patience?

I have lost my patience a few times. It mostly happens during traffic congestion because that is when I feel most irritated. Also, if I have to stand in a queue for a long time, that checks my patience. These are the two circumstances where I lose patience.

Can you describe a situation in your life where you had to demonstrate patience and how you handled it?

Four years back, I was in my hometown to spend quality time with my parents, and suddenly, There was a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. I had no option but to stay at home during that time.

The work-from-home option was available at my company, but I did not have my laptop because It was in my office. So, although I felt impatient later on, I made peace with it by practicing meditation and yoga and talking to my parents.

After a few days, the administration offered relaxation, and I Got a permit to Bring a laptop from my office. I did that, and after that, I Did my work with determination, dedication, and discipline, so it was tough to handle initially. However, I’ve managed it.

Can you think of a time when impatience negatively affected a situation? What did you learn from that experience?

It happened two years back when I was in a hotel, and we ordered a meal. The meal was delayed, and I asked the waiter. I was intense, but he always said it for 10 minutes.

After that, I started shouting; that scenario disturbed the mental peace of other guests sitting at different tables, and later on, I came to know that one of the chefs fell on the floor, becoming unconscious, so I apologized to everyone for my behaviour and from that day I Have embraced patience as a part of my life.

In what ways do you believe practising patience can improve relationships, both personal and professional?

In personal relationships these days, people have significantly less time. Due to that, the gap gets widened so that people show patience towards each other Regardless of how much time they are meeting. They should not feel Disheartened or so.

This way, they can improve the relationship. Stand in a professional environment where people want to get ahead of others. Still, For the compounding of your efforts, you need to give time, and for that, you need patience. So, it is a quality that helps you lead your career toward an impressive road trajectory if you manage it effectively.

How do you manage your emotions when feeling impatient, and what strategies do you use to remain calm?

There are various situations when I feel impatient and have to manage my emotions. I Do yoga or meditation. Sometimes, I listen to songs and watch motivational videos. Apart from that, I go for a walk and talk to myself. So, these activities helped me get out of the unfortunate situation and remain calm.
