I picked up an anatomy book thrown by somebody in my hostel when I lived in a hostel at my college. In the second building of the hostel, there was a room specially dedicated for this purpose.
The room’s name was Yogdan. It was a means for the seniors to pass old and unwanted books to the juniors. I picked that book in my first year of college. That was back in 2019.
After picking up that book, I wiped off the dust. I looked for all the pages intact. The book was in excellent condition. I took that book to my college and talked to my professor regarding that book.
My professor said that the book is fantastic and the edition is also appropriate. I studied further for my final exams with that particular book for the anatomy exam.
I felt happy that it saved my money, and I also got lucky with that book because I scored a perfect score on that particular exam.

People usually throw the things that they are not used to. Here in Canada, there is one trend. Everybody follows. Whatever we don’t need, we just put it outside of our house. If anyone needs it, they can pick it up. Otherwise, the garbage one will take it out.
I want to talk about the couch I picked up from the street beside my house. It is a leather couch, and it is an excellent couch. I saw it; it had a tear from the left side and was slightly dirty. I was looking for the same for the new, like on the various sites.
I wanted to buy a new one, but I certainly got that. Then, I was thrilled at that time. With the help of my friend, I picked it up from the next street. When I tried to pick it up, it needed to be more convenient. Then we booked a van and picked it up, and with the help of my friend, I moved it to my garage.
After that, I thought it needed a little cleaning, but it was perfect when I saw it. Then, with the help of YouTube, I saw some videos on how to clean the couch, especially the leather couch. They said I needed to buy baking soda because it is a suitable chemical reactor to clean something. I purchased the same, and with the help of baking soda and some detergent, I washed it well.
After the cleaning, it just looks like a new one. For the left leg, I stitched it with the help of my mother. After that, I just got one thing for my home: something within $15. It’s cheap for me. It was beautiful. My dog also likes it. In the early days, he loved spending time on the couch. He was sitting every day over there. It’s tough to get it out from there. Yes, it’s a good thing. We need to recycle things. It’s a good activity. It also helps our society to reduce rubbish around the city.

Sometimes, we find many valuable things in life, but I want to discuss one incident. When I was young, at the age of 15, I went to the park to play in the evening. I was playing cricket over there, which was excellent for me, and I found a camera on the bench.
It was a Canon company product. It was black and had digital photography features. If I talk about my experience, I have taken many photos with this photo camera with family and with my friends. I went on the trip where I took this camera. We collected pictures of mountains, rivers, and beautiful waterfalls. I feel good with this camera; it has been with me for a long time. I am also looking for his original owner, but he has yet to come to take it back.

In our lives, we lose many things. On the other hand, sometimes we find other people’s things. It is a high expectancy to lose anything but a very low expectancy to find something for me. It was a time when I studied at the ninth standard in my hometown, Mujjafarnagar. I had just escaped from my English class, and I just saw randomly on the road and found a silver thing shining on the roadside.
The ring was lying on the roadside, and I had ignored it. Then I suddenly picked up the thing and identified it; it was a Titan brand watch, whose color was silver, and it cost around 6,000 to 6,500 rupees. After that, I searched the locality to find someone who owned the watch. Then I reached the nearest police station and complained about seeing a watch on the roadside.
After a week, cops contacted me and informed me that no one had come to claim the watch. Then they invited me to the police station and tied up the watch in my hands and told me that you are the owner of this watch because you found that. Go home and enjoy using the watch after that incident. I was just over the moon and couldn’t express my feelings. After that day, I became the owner of that watch.
