Something in my country that I’m interested in is the diverse culture it has. And I learned about our diverse culture in India through mass media social media, which was also taught in our school.
Since school, I’ve been interested in learning about different cultures, foods, languages, and people. I’m interested; I’m a curious person. I like talking to new people and going to new places. I want to travel a lot. And wherever I go and travel, I look at the culture closely, as closely as possible.
I not only visit the prime locations of that particular city or state, but I also like to walk in the cities where the actual culture is hidden. Just looking at the people doing their work, listening to their language, and tasting their food is mesmerizing.
And yes, I would like to know more about the diverse culture we have in India. From north to south, east to west, India is various, and there’s a vast scope. Even if I travel all my life, I can only try or look closely at some cultures. So yes, I would like to know more about it.
Follow-ups
1. Where would you go and why if you could visit any country tomorrow?
If I had a chance to go to any country in the world tomorrow, I would prefer to go to some European countries, especially Norway, because we see the northern lights there, and it is one of my dream destinations.
2. What can the higher authorities do to make your country more interesting?
There’s a massive scope for the higher authorities to work on tourism in India. They can promote tourism through social media or mass media. They can improve the travel facilities like roadways and railways so that people can come and commute easily.
3. Do you think the old culture of your country and the new culture can coexist?
Yes, the ancient culture and contemporary culture in a country can coexist. And even today, it is coexisting in certain parts I’ve been. For example, last year, I visited Rajasthan, where I saw considerable development in the city. In addition to that, they have preserved the old culture and their authentic culture.
4. How can technology help in the preservation of culture?
Technology can play a vital role in conserving the culture by keeping digital records of what used to exist. These days, an essential part is the preservation of monuments. The technology has advanced. Now, we can also get to know the composition of the air around that particular marble or stone, leading to depletion in its quality.
5. Is living in a cosmopolitan environment a good idea?
Yes, living in a sophisticated environment is a good idea. Because it is always exciting to be around different kinds of people. You get to know more about their culture, and you get to spread information about yours.
